August 5-6 // Grand Rapids, MI

Where: Grand Rapids, MI at Lamb Bride

When: August 5-6, 2017, 12-6pm both days

Have you ever wanted to create a typeface, but didn’t know where to start? The daunting task of finding and learning a type design application can often discourage designers, letterers, or calligraphers from jumping in.

In this workshop, Molly will guide you through expanding your lettering and calligraphy skills and creating your own working typeface.

Am I Right for This Class?

This class is for individuals with a basic working knowledge of hand-lettering, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. The ideal student wants to learn how to take their lettering or calligraphy and turn it into a working font that can be used on any computer.

This workshop is perfect for:

Calligraphers, Letterers, Illustrators, and Designers:

  • Who want to create custom typefaces for their own business or others
  • Who want to create a unique product to bring in residual income at any time in his or her career
